WHAT IF the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
This one might take me a little while, but yeah, I'm going there.
I'm thinking about the social implications of the hokey pokey and how everyone reacts to it differently. Some people go all in, some people just walk away, some make dirty jokes, and some panic and get unbearably self-conscious because they don't know if they will look more stupid dancing or laughing at the people that are.
It's a fascinating thing, really. A lot of hidden personality traits can come out with the hokey pokey. Maybe it's just an extended metaphor for the foolishness and futility of life... Or not.
